Roles and Responsibilities:
· To care, control and supervise youths in group home/residences.
· To facilitate youth in developing social skills, help them in rising life skills development, support them in recreational activities and handle practice crisis intervention. All required training will be provided.
Qualifications:
· Secondary graduates, Post-secondary graduates or on-going students in the related fields i.e. Education, Social work, Sociology, Psychology, Child & Youth Care Worker, Developmental Service Worker, Police Foundations, Social Service Worker and other related/connected fields.
. We offer and require ministry recommended safety and work related certifications/trainings which align with our policies and regulations, thus ensuring that our youth get the best possible quality care. We promote and make sure that we provide harassment free environment to all our clients and staff members.
· Recent medical and police criminal record check/certificate is required. (not more than 60 days old)
· Up to date immunizations record including 2 COVID shots.
· Basic knowledge of issues faced by today’s Canadian youth.
· Car with 2 million liability and valid full license is mandatory.
Working Shifts:
· 4, 8, 12 hours shifts which may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays when required. It can further be discussed in the interview.
